Former Parliament Member of Netherlands Speaks in Favor of Top Meme Coins

Zihni Ozdil is a former Member of Parliament representing the left-wing green party during his tenure. The millionaire has recently posted on Twitter about his take on the meme cryptocurrencies. For the time being, two major tokens, e.g., Dogecoin and SHIB, hold the biggest share in the crypto market. Both meme tokens have gained the attention of investors recently.

Ozdil claimed that he is bullish on both tokens and stated that he feels that the token is all set for the new bullish development in the near term. He has claimed that there is little to no difference between the meme coins and Bitcoin. His recent remarks have been taken up by his followers on Twitter with a grain of salt.

The Similarity between Bitcoin and Meme Coins

The Dutch millionaire, Ozdil claims that there is little to no difference in the way that the price for meme coins and the flagship cryptocurrency Bitcoin is determined. He based his claims by stating that both types of tokens depending on the number of invested interests in the respective blockchain currencies.

However, speaking on the matter of meme coins, Ozdil claimed that if the interest rates for these tokens started to rise, then it would be better for the investors to stay away from digital assets. Ozdil was able to become a member of the House of Representatives in 2017 while working for the GroenLink party.

The Netherlands is a northwestern country in Europe that is famous for having the house where Ann Frank took refuge during the Second World War and having the Van Gouge Museum. Ozdil rose to prominence when he helped a Dutch politician named Jesse Klaver write his book as a historian.

However, Ozdil famously resigned from his position as a lower member of the parliament over disagreements with Kalver on the matter of student loan policies. Since then, he has claimed to get immersed into the cryptocurrency market and put all his bets in Ethereum and Dogecoin. Ozdil announced in August that he has bought a tropical Island and become a crypto millionaire by investing in DOGE and ETH ETFs.
